Don’t be attached to things!

“You Came in this world with empty hands and you will leave with empty hands”. We all are grown up listening to this line from our grandparents. But what does this actually mean, I think we still need to discuss on that. Over all it is indicating towards money, materialistic things, etc. But I think there is something beyond this line that we all need to understand once. Today, in this article we will just revolve around this line that is told by our parents or grandparents.

Attached to things – right or wrong?

Every parent in this world wants to provide every best thing that they can. From the childhood parents sow the seeds of morals, adequate, manners. They want to make sure that their children are having the best up bringing in terms of values. And we learn also. But, at some point in life we just neglect al these things. This can be either of our bad company whom we are currently enjoying with or it may be your point of view that changed by seeing and experiencing the people. So, if you are in a bad company then its up to you only that how can you come out of that. No one can force you to do this.  Because things that are done by forcing someone can not stay till long time. So, it is better if you take that stand by yourself only.

Next thing is, when our perspective changed towards life by seeing many ups and downs throughout. You have seen people, experienced them and then completely changed yourself according to their action. So, this could be the topic of discussion today. Very first thing is, why to give so much authority to anyone in life that due to any course of their action we changed for how we think, how we live and what we do?

People here do what they want to do. So, we should also continue on what we are doing. We should not change the way on how we are looking world. People out there will try there best to pull you down, will stop you to do good thing. They are doing this because they are frustrated and they do not want to see anyone happy around them.

Always be a giver. It’s like a super power that you got in this life if you can give something to someone. In this world nothing is yours. What ever you are having today will be acquired by someone else. And once you started to get a feeling of giving something to some one stranger and then seeing them smiling then after that feeling nothing can stop you to live freely. Freely as in if you are not attached to anything then you do not need to worry about anything. That’s why they say if you want to be free then don’t be attached to things.

Attached to things – Poor vs Rich

Definition between a poor and a rich person is that when a poor becomes rich then everything, he exposed to what ever the luxury it is. Then once he got access to these items, he will like to show case them to public. May be, he did not mean to show off his thing and people will guess that yes, he is looking rich. But the real rich are the ones who does not show anything in public. They will give you what ever you ask from them. Because they know, nothing is permanent in this world. And people cannot make a guess about their wealth. Because they do not show their wealth in public. This is the real richness.

Giving your thing to other does not mean that even give the clothes you are wearing to the other person. From the simple mathematics what we are trying to say here is if you have 100 rupees then you should not mind giving 10 rupees from them to someone. Believe me whatever you are giving will come back to you in multiple times. For this, I will tell you one incident.

There was an old watchman. He is very poor. He was having only that much money from which he can just eat in a day. But he is a habit of playing bet in race course. So, what he does is like he used to save his money for that race and when he collected sufficient money then he just went and make a bet there. Similarly, one day when he had enough money of playing the bet then he left for the race course. But just right below his building he found a dog injured. So, he went into a dilemma that whether he should go and place bet in race course or should spend this money for curing that dog. So, finally he listened to his heart and spend that money to cure the dog. Since that day he never felt shortage of money. He is playing bets on race course. He also left his job of watchman. Not only this, he is now also taking care of more than 50 dogs. He feds them food and takes care of them.

So, with the money that he is been saving since a long time to play race course. He putted that money to save some animal and that too without having any internal benefit from it. When the dog recovered, what would he get from it. Poor dog cannot even say thank you to the man. So, this is his karma that made sure, he will never get out of money. Because he is having a pure heart.

Similarly, I am asking from all of you guys. Always keep a big heart. Do not stuck to small things that does not even matter in this precious life that you got. If you keep on stuck on those small things then you will never be able to come out of this and achieve something big. Just let it go some times and let it be sometimes. Enjoy every moment of your life.
