The only solution to get some level of protection of it is to cover your head while travelling outside. There is no other option besides this. You have to travel for work and as now the cities are developing so pollution is the one thing that you cannot avoid.
Heat
Heat is the other factor of this problem. Too much heat directly goes to your scalp when you go outside. Direct heat makes root week. The only solution to get rid of heat at some point is to cover your head. Although the hairs need fresh air. Try to get a walk either in the early morning or in the night after dinner to get some fresh air to the hairs.
Dust
Dust comes in the same category of heat and dust. The precautions that you have to take from it are also same. There is one more thing that you can add is get a gentle hair wash if you observed that you come from an area having too much dust. Wash your hairs with only a little amount of mild shampoo.
Chemicals
Besides of what the chemicals are present in the air due to industrialization there are too many other sources from which you are taking chemicals. And you don’t even know that. All the fancy products that you are applying to your hairs contain chemicals. The only way to get rid of it is to stop using it.

Remedies
Honey + Curd + Olive oil
Take all these three things in a bowl. Mix them well. Then apply them gently on your hair. Make sure the mixture goes well to your roots. Apply the mixture from the fingers to the scalp. Honey is high in moisture content. Applying honey moisturizes the hair and improves its quality. Curd and olive oil help the hair to grow fast with better quality. They protect your hair from being getting into split ends.
Split end is a condition in which your hair disparts and fall faster.
Papaya + Yogurt
Papaya is good for your skin as well as for your hair too. Take two medium slices of papaya. Mash them either with a spoon or give a quick blend. Then add yogurt to that blend. Apply that mixture to your scalp. Papaya helps in both nourishment and growth.
Oil massage
Take coconut oil in a bowl. Give some heat to the oil. Apply them to your hair. Give a gentle massage to your hair. Make sure you are applying it from the roots to the tips of the hairs. Oil does not need any explanation. Nothing is better than oil if we are talking about nourishment.
Food
Food is the factor that people neglect the most. People think that the quality of their hair has nothing to do with the food. But it is not like what it seems to be. There are different things that you need to take care of.
- Stay hydrated. Drink more water, especially in winter
- Try to eat more protein. Find the protein content in whatever food that suits you the most.
- Add some nuts in your diet
One more thing, add some soft pillow in your sleeping routine. The soft pillow helps the refraction of hairs from the pillow and protects your hair from being damaged. Comb your hair gently.
